Supporting the charitable spirit of Eid al-Adha across the globe

Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, carries profound cultural and religious significance for our Muslim community. With a deep appreciation for the essence of this sacred occasion, we decided to reach out to the less fortunate, aiming to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Our Eid al-Adha effort covered Malaysia, Indonesia, and Nigeria this year. In Kelantan, Malaysia, we partnered with Azeehan, our local IB partner, to distribute Qurbani meat. In Indonesia, continuing our partnership with IDEP, we're sponsoring the recovery phase of a multi-level support initiative—by distributing food packages and essential items to individuals and families. In Nigeria, with the Keeping It Real (KIR) Foundation, we launched the 'Eid al-Adha Food Drive' initiative, orchestrating food distribution campaigns in Lagos, Argungu, and Port Harcourt. This endeavour supported 250 families, including 60 children and their caregivers at a centre for children with disabilities in Lagos and 120 students attending Almajiri schools in Argungu. The surplus food was allocated to a centre catering to individuals with disabilities and an orphanage in Port Harcourt.

It's a great honour for us to have the opportunity to give back to the communities that have supported us throughout the years. We hope this effort would help alleviate some of their hardships during these challenging times.
