Dividend announcement for stock derivatives and shares

When a company pays dividends, it reduces its value by their amount. The payout leads to the share price reduction at the market opening on the ex-dividend date, which is the day the company stock starts trading without the value of the dividend. If you hold stock derivatives or shares of a company that pays dividends, we will credit their amount to your account for Buy orders or debit it from your account for Sell orders on the ex-dividend date.
